I had a good afternoon - in that G is fast asleep and i didn't sleep as well :P - so these are some WIP shots of my hat in the making:
The top of the hat and the sides
Backing of the sides
cutting up strips for the brim
sewing up the top with the sides - anybody knows how to machine stitch a circular shape? I gave up and just handstitched the lot
quilted brim, ready for attaching to the bottom of the hat.
