Mel's Sewing Machine Cover

I managed to do this last night:

and i totally forgot about taking WIP pictures! Anyway, it was really "cut-and-go". I started with the square in the middle and just cut the fabric as I went along.

In the end, I couldn't decide if i wanted it to be a chair cover or sewing machine cover, but decided to go along with the latter, since I realised that the hard cover that came with my sewing machine will only fit if I unplug the machine [which I'm not keen to do on a daily basis - perhaps if its long term storage? or if I'm going for a sewing crop?;) ]

It took shorter than expected, and I really enjoyed sewing this while my kids were playing next to me in the new craft/toys room! :)))
